Stock Controller
Reporting to: Operations Director
Location: Unit 1, Knowsley Industrial Park, Beech Hill Industrial Park, Hammond Rd, Liverpool L33 7UL
Employment Type: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract, 40-hour week Monday to Friday.
Salary: TBC

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Stock Controller.
About the Role
As a Stock Controller, your key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Daily Stock Scheduling: Plan and manage product stock levels daily, proactively identifying and addressing potential stock concerns.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear and efficient communication with relevant departments to facilitate smooth stock distribution and inventory updates.
- Transport Coordination: Schedule and organise transport for both deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and accurate logistics.
- Stock Monitoring: Regularly track stock counts to prevent shortages and maintain optimal stock availability.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with external suppliers to manage order schedules and ensure stock levels meet the business’s needs.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Procurement team, Factory Production, and distribution centres to streamline operations.
- Documentation and Contracts: Prepare contracts and necessary documentation, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Meetings: Attend daily and other relevant meetings as required to stay aligned with operational goals.
- Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders when applicable to maintain stock levels.
- Data Reporting: Compile data and reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, as required by management.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
IT Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Inventory Management: Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a related role.
Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in maintaining records, preparing documentation, and monitoring stock levels.
Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying issues proactively and developing effective solutions.
Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols to ensure safe and compliant work practices.
